The Bellevue Forest Garden Club was organized in 1968 to educate and to share ideas in gardening, flower arranging and civic improvement.  It has met on the second Thursday of the month at 12:30 September through May and has done so since its inception.  The Club provides an opportunity to meet socially, enjoy a light luncheon and participate in programs focused on making our gardening activities more rewarding.  The Club is composed of a stimulating mix of ages, talents and experience.  It includes some of the founding members as well as new residents of the neighborhood.

Although the stated purpose of the Club is to promote the beautification of our environment, one benefit that accrues to members is community spirit.  It is a rare opportunity to interact with neighbors who quickly become friends.
